Connecting another domain

A CodeOn license is bound to one domain at a time. Moving the same key to a new store is supported, but the old domain must be released first.

Preferred path: release from WordPress

Open the old WordPress site.
Go to the plugin's License tab.
Click Remove key or Clear license, then save.
The plugin calls CodeOn and releases the current domain binding.
Install the plugin on the new site and activate with the same key.

This path is best because the request comes from the already-bound domain and can be checked against the same license key and site URL.

Fallback: release from codeon.ge

If the old WordPress site is already offline, deleted, or broken, sign in to codeon.ge, open the license detail page, and release the bound domain from there. The dashboard path is session-authenticated and writes an audit entry.

Common domain mismatch causes

Cause	Fix
www vs non-www	Make WordPress Settings → General match the domain you intend to license.
Staging activated first	Release the staging domain before activating production, or buy a separate staging license if both must stay active.
Protocol or port confusion	CodeOn normalizes http/https and removes ports, but the real host name still has to match.
Domain already belongs to an old install	Release the old binding from codeon.ge, then re-check the license in WordPress.
