CodeOn Architect — setup
Use this guide to go from a fresh install to an apartment selector buyers can use: your plans on screen, every apartment clickable, live statuses and prices, and requests arriving for your sales team. The demo project is the quickest way to see where everything goes.
Before you begin
- WordPress 6.5+ and PHP 8.1+. WooCommerce is not needed.
- Your plans as images: a masterplan or site view, building facades and floor plans (JPG, PNG or WebP).
- A CodeOn Architect licence for the site's domain.
Setup sequence
- Buy the CodeOn Architect licence, upload the ZIP under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and activate it.
- Open CodeOn → CodeOn Architect and enter the licence key. The same page links to the dashboard.
- Open CodeOn Architect in the admin menu and follow the setup guide — or start from the demo project and change it into your own.
- Add the project, then its buildings and floors, and upload an image for each level.
- Draw the outlines in the Studio, then fill in statuses and prices in the Units grid.
- Put
[codeon_architect](all projects) or[codeon_architect id="N"](one project) on a page, or use the CodeOn Architect project block.
Drawing in the Studio
- Pen and rectangle
- Click the corners of an apartment, or drag a rectangle. Points snap to the outlines already drawn, so neighbouring apartments share a wall.
- A whole floor in one go
- Draw the floor's apartments one after another without leaving the tool; after each outline the Studio moves on to the next apartment that has none.
- Tracing and typical floors
- Show another floor underneath to trace it, or apply one floor's layout to every floor that repeats it.
- SVG import
- Outlines drawn in Illustrator or Figma can be imported from an SVG file instead of drawn again; they are matched to apartments by their names.
Statuses, prices and payment plans
Leads
Every request from the site — with the apartment, the chosen payment plan and the campaign it came from — lands in the Leads workspace, and by e-mail. Your team sees it as a board or a list:
- Repeat requests are recognised: a request from someone who has asked before is marked, with the earlier ones on the lead's page.
- Each lead has a manager and notes; sales staff see their own under Mine.
- A webhook can pass every request on to your CRM.
When something does not work
- The dashboard says the licence is not active
- Enter or renew the key under CodeOn → CodeOn Architect. The selector on your site keeps working meanwhile; only the dashboard is locked.
- A change does not show on the site
- Open CodeOn Architect → Status. It checks the setup — caching, outdated theme templates and more — with a repair button wherever the plugin can fix the problem itself.
- The selector looks different from the theme
- Settings has a live preview of the look: colours, font, light or dark scheme. Changes show in the preview before you save.
