Questions
Frequently asked.
Do I need WooCommerce?
No. CodeOn Multilingual translates any WordPress site. When WooCommerce is active (8.9 or newer), products, variations, cart, checkout and e-mails are translated too, and price, stock and SKU stay in sync across languages.
Which languages can I use?
Any. 66 languages are ready to add with their names, flags and locales, and you can define any other language yourself. Add as many as your site needs; each one gets its own address.
Can I migrate from another multilingual plugin?
Yes. CodeOn Multilingual imports from popular multilingual plugins such as WPML (including WooCommerce Multilingual) and Polylang. Deactivate the other plugin — its data stays in the database — and activate CodeOn Multilingual: the setup wizard offers the import, and Multilingual → Tools → Import runs it at any time later. Languages, post and term translations and strings are brought over, and a rollback point of the plugin's own tables is created first. Back up your database before you begin.
