Questions
Frequently asked.
I'm currently using the old Plug-and-Pay Liberty plugin — do I need new credentials?
No. The plugin uses the same /wc-api/liberty-pay/* URL surface Liberty already has on file for your merchant account, so the existing Merchant ID and Password work unchanged. Deactivate the old plugin, activate this one, paste the same credentials.
Does this put my store in PCI scope?
No. Card data is entered inside Liberty's hosted page — no PAN ever reaches your WordPress server or database. You only store Liberty's payment reference, so SAQ-A applies if your acquirer asks.
Can I run refunds without leaving WooCommerce?
Yes for merchants on Liberty's classic PAY backend. Merchants migrated to Liberty's TXPG infrastructure may need to refund via Liberty's merchant portal — Liberty's support team enables programmatic refund access on request.
Does it support recurring billing for subscriptions?
