Why did one short message cost me three?
Georgian text is sent in Unicode, where one SMS segment is 70 characters instead of 160. The message editor shows a live segment count as you type, so you can see the cost before you save.
Will it text the same person twice if an order changes status twice?
No. Every message carries a key derived from the order, the status and the recipient, and the same key can only ever send once — however many times the trigger fires.
Do order updates need marketing consent?
No. Telling a customer what happened to an order they placed is a service message. Promotions are separate: they require consent and always honour opt-outs.
